Hi I'm Chriso

My career as a chef began in 1999 after discovering a love of food. I commenced my apprenticeship under strict English tutors who instilled the finer qualities needed to become a successful chef.

Since then, I have worked at various establishments within Australia, Overseas and aboard Expedition Motor Yachts, refining my culinary skills.

The diverse styles and tastes I have encountered have influenced my cooking. I love living in Far North Queensland, and my food reflects that by utilising an array of our beautiful local products and tropical produce.

I started my chef catering business in 2008, and from its humble beginnings, I have enjoyed watching it grow into a great success.

Over the years, I have won awards and medals in various Culinary Competitions, cooked for celebrities, high-profile politicians and well-known TV stars. However, I am most proud of my reputation within the local community.

My philosophy for success is to provide a personal & professional service and, of course, great-tasting food!

I am not sure where to start with this email but Ryan and I are EXTREMELY grateful for everything you did you for us. I always knew that if I ever got married one day, you would be my first choice for catering. You went so far above catering though - you suggested the venue at the expo, helped out with connecting us with Amy and took all the pressure off my Mum by cutting the wedding cake and making the tea and coffee.

On the day, the food was absolutely delicious (no surprise there!) But you also made every person you met feel extra special. My sister, my Mum, my friends Amalie and Lauren and also Ryan commented what a top guy you are! They loved that you made time to chat with them and all spoke so highly of you.

I'll be forever grateful for everything and I know that I'll be using your services many times again in the future!

Just wanted to say a quick thank you to you and your team for an amazing evening.

Everything from the initial planning through to final details and the night itself was easy and stress free. The food on the night was a definite highlight which Annabel, myself and all our guests loved. Thank you also for organising the bar staff. The whole night ran so smoothly and was perfect.

Ben and I wanted to thank you for creating such a delicious and memorable feast for us on our wedding night last Wednesday. Our guests just couldn't stop raving about the food and many of them said that it was the best meal they have every eaten at any wedding!! Thank you so much for helping us make the night so special. Carole and I along with the whole team at First National would like to thank you and your team of Thyrze and Meg, for a wonderful Christmas party. You seamlessly moved in, prepared and served a magnificent meal, and left without trace. The fact that it was all done without any stress from our side was only surpassed by the quality of your food, and the attentive service from you and your team.

We have all been talking about your meal, and it seems that everyone has their particular favorites, but we all loved every course. We will highly recommend you simply because you are very good.

I just wanted to let you know that last Saturday was like we died and went to heaven! Grahams is so difficult to buy for, but the longest lunch with his best friends will go down as the best gift ever!

We are still raving about the food (which was no surprise - your reputation is well earned!) but it was the service I really want to commend you and your team on! T was amazing, I can't believe she was able to navigate my cupboards and keep everyone's glasses full, but not drunk!

If you could pass on our gratitude to your team that would be fabulous. We finished up at 1am dancing on the beach under the milky way - it was a banger!
